Maud de la Chapelle is member of the Africultures' board. She used to work for the association, first for the Afriscope magazine (a free magazine focused on African and Caribbean diasporas in France and on intercultural topics), from 2008 to 2010, then for the Southplanet plateform, from 2011 to 2016.
Her main interests are street arts, music, postcolonial studies and intercultural psychology.
She regularly collaborates with the Cameroonian organization Doual'art, which focuses on artistic practices in urban space in Douala (Cameroon).
She spent two years in Douala (Cameroon) and three in Maputo (Mozambique).
She wrote articles for Africultures, Afriscope, Contemporary And and African Cities Reader. And she coordinated in 2015 a one year cycle of "lusophone windows" on Africultures.
She is currently working in organizing concerts for the Grive la Braillarde association in Brive-la-Gaillarde (France).
