Levi Zeleza Manda was born in Chatupa Village T/A Malanda in Nkhata Bay District. He holds a BA from University of Malawi. He is a versatile short-story writer and one of his stories The Unsung Sng is the cover title of a senior secondary school literature book edited by Reuben Chirambo, Max lphani and Zondiwe Mbano. His other short-story Kuhara a moving story which was in memory of his long time friend. Kaulanda Nkosi was anthologised in Modern Stories from Malawi in 2003. A media consultant and researcher Levi is also teaching Journalism at the Malawi Polytechnic, the University of Malawi.
