Malawi's ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), in a response to President Peter Mutharika's call to help flood victims, has organised a Valentine dinner and dance party.

According to the party, the dinner and dance will take place on Saturday, February 14 at the Bingu International Conference Centre where President Mutharika will be the guest of honour.

Activities on the day will include music performances from Mibawa Band, Saul Chembezi, DPP Sendera Sisters, Edgar and Davis and Kambuku Band, among others.

Dress code: Black tie for men and evening/national dress for ladies (red or blue).
