Dallas or Mustafa El Houari, his real name, is a film-maker in the twilight years of his career. After several business failures, he finishes up broke and alone with just his memories for company in his production centre. The only person to remain loyal is his secretary, Halima who continues to believe in his talent and who glorifies his prestigious past. One day a script turns up from a wealthy businessman who wants to make a film about his father's life.
