Laylat..., One Thousand and One Nights new creation proposes to continue the journey into the Oriental tales imagination. After Zenzela started with a show that has toured the world: Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Spain, Switzerland. Laylat... is the moment of the imagination, of the exaltation of the soul and dreams, populated by djinn (spirits) and fantastic characters. It turns night of ecstasy (Laylat el Tarab), for the vigil (Laylat al Qadr), possession of night (Laylat el Zar) or night of love (Laylat el Hob).

Acclaimed in the ancient poetry, highlighted by the singers of the golden age from Oum Kalthoum to Mohamed Abdelwahab through Abdel Halim Hafez, nights eastern take part in the secular tradition of the Thousand and One Nights tales.

Through dances and music, Laylat... explores different facets of these festive evenings, contemplative or possessive. A meeting between oriental dance gestures and musical vibrations, colorful blend of violin and the oud, shared between the flute-ney ecstatic, the qanun (zither) and the frenzied percussion of all El Darbak...
