MASTER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (MIFF), YASMINE HAMMAMET, Tunisia, May 06-13, 2023


The festival is managed by an organizing committee and an advisory committee chaired by Mr Mokhtar Ladjimi, General Director of the Festival. The festival aims essentially to reward films already awarded or selected internationally (Best Off of International Cinema) by conferring each year the trophy of "Gold Galion عارشلا يبهذلا" to encourage original and independent film creation but also to attract savvy film lovers.
The MIFF also aims to promote the seaside resort of Yasmine Hammamet as an international film destination and enrich the cultural tourism product.
The "Golden Galleons" are awarded annually, after a vote of an international jury and during a Ceremony broadcast live and recorded by various national and international broadcasters, in the presence of all the representatives of the selected films.


Mokhtar LADJIMI is the Founding President and Festival Director of the MASTER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL YASMINE HAMMAMET (MIFF), Tunisia.
The first edition of this festival was held in June 2022, the second in May 2023.

A PROPOS DU FESTIVAL 2023
La seconde édition du Master Festival international du film (MIFF) à Yasmine Hammamet est organisée par la Médina Méditerranea avec le concours des Ministères de la culture et du tourisme.
Le festival est dirigé par un comité d'organisation et un comité consultatif présidés par Mr Mokhtar Ladjimi, Directeur général du Festival. Le festival a pour but de récompenser essentiellement les films déjà primés ou sélectionnés à l'échelle internationale (Best Off du cinéma international) en leur conférant chaque année le trophée de "Galion d'or عارشلا يبهذلا" et ce pour encourager la création cinématographique originale et indépendante mais aussi attirer les cinéphiles avisés.
Le MIFF vise également la promotion de la station balnéaire de Yasmine Hammamet en tant que destination cinématographique internationale et enrichir le produit touristique culturel.
Les "Galions d'or" sont attribués annuellement, à l'issue d'un vote d'un jury international et au cours d'une Cérémonie retransmise en direct et en différé par divers diffuseurs nationaux et internationaux, en présence de l'ensemble des représentants des films sélectionnés.
